Carolyn Casselman
Head Coach

I am so happy to be coaching cheer leading once again. I coached here at GMS for 4 years. My girls embraced the sport and started competing in 2001. In 2002 my squad went to the ECA Invitational in Williamsburg VA. They won the small middle school/jr. high division. Many of those girls continued to cheer through high school as well. I started coaching JV for Georgetown High in 2003, then coached Varsity until 2006. My squad continued to compete and were successfull in local competitions and even made it back to the state championships in 2005.

My goal for my squad is to become positive representatives of GMS through atheletics and academics. Although we do not compete as a middle school, the competitive squad at the high school is open to any 7th - 12 grade cheer leader. These girls must possess superior skills in the fields of jumps, stunting and tumbeling.
